
Vanilla protein iced matcha
Ingredients (for 1 large glass)
- 1 scoop of Vanilla Pulse Protein
- 20 cl of plant-based milk of your choice* (soy for a creamier, protein-rich latte, oat for a sweeter taste, coconut for a fresh, summery touch)
- 1/2 teaspoon of matcha powder
- 5 cl of hot water (around 80°C, not boiling)
- ice
Preparation
- Blend the protein base: In a blender, pour 20 cl of plant-based milk and add a dose of Pulse Vanilla Protein. Blend until smooth and even.
- Prepare the matcha: In a small bowl, sift the matcha to avoid lumps. Add the 5 cl of hot water and whisk vigorously using a matcha whisk (or a small standard whisk) until the powder is well dissolved and slightly frothy.
- Assemble the matcha frappe: Fill a large glass with ice cubes. Then gently pour in the vanilla protein milk. Finish by gently pouring in the hot matcha, for a beautiful gradient of green and cream.
- Enjoy immediately!
