Ingredients :
- 4 organic apples (Golden or Pink Lady type)
- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 80 g Pulse almond puree
- 100 g Pulse granola (plain or chocolate)
- 30 g maple syrup or agave
- 1 tablespoon wholemeal flour or oat flakes
- 1 tablespoon coconut sugar (optional)
- 1 pinch of salt
Preparation :
- Brown the apples:
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (gas mark 6).
- Wash, peel and cut the apples into cubes.
- Heat a frying pan over medium heat, then add the apple pieces with the lemon juice, cinnamon, and a little coconut sugar if desired.
- Sauté the apples for 5 to 7 minutes until they begin to soften and caramelize slightly.
- Transfer them to a baking dish.
- Prepare the crumble dough:
- In a bowl, mix the Pulse almond puree, wholemeal flour (or oat flakes), maple syrup and pinch of salt.
- Add the Pulse granola and mix gently until you get a sandy texture.
- Assemble and cook:
- Spread the crumble mixture evenly over the browned apples.
- Bake for about 20 minutes, until the crumble is golden brown and crispy.
- Serve :
- Serve warm, plain or with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a little plant-based yogurt.
Tasty tip: Add a handful of crushed nuts (almonds or hazelnuts) to the crumble mixture for extra crunch!
