Why choose a glass shaker?

A glass shaker offers many advantages over traditional plastic or stainless steel models. First, glass is a neutral material: it doesn’t absorb odors or flavors, ensuring an authentic taste for every protein shake. Unlike plastic, it is free from BPA and harmful substances that could leach into your drink, even with hot or acidic liquids. This makes it a healthier and more eco-friendly option. Glass is also recyclable and long-lasting, making it a sustainable choice for the environment. In addition, it is scratch-resistant and keeps its clean look over time. It's also see through which enables you to instantly check whether it's empty or not and to verify the aspect, texture and color of it's content. With its modern and stylish design, a glass shaker is versatile enough to be used at the gym, at work, or at home. By choosing an eco-friendly and durable shaker, you combine health, practicality, and style while reducing your environmental impact.

How to choose the right shaker for protein drinks?

Choosing the right shaker for protein shakes comes down to a few essential criteria. The material is key: a glass or stainless steel shaker is more durable and doesn’t retain unpleasant tastes, unlike plastic. Capacity is another factor: a 700 ml format, like the Pulse Protein shaker, is perfect for mixing powders with water, milk, or smoothies without overflowing. Ergonomics also matter: a shaker should be comfortable to hold, easy to carry, and simple to clean. A proper mixing system is crucial too: a stainless steel spring ball ensures smooth, lump-free shakes. Finally, design is not just about looks — a modern, BPA-free shaker makes it more enjoyable to use daily. In short, a good shaker should combine durability, practicality, and style, supporting your fitness and nutrition goals in the long term.

How to maintain and extend the lifespan of a glass shaker?

A glass shaker can last for years if properly maintained. After each use, it’s best to rinse it quickly to prevent protein powder residue from drying and sticking to the walls. Washing it with warm water and mild soap is usually enough for daily cleaning. For a deeper clean, a bottle brush can help reach the bottom of the shaker. Unlike plastic models, glass doesn’t retain odors or stains and can withstand frequent washes without degrading. Most glass shakers are also dishwasher-safe, making maintenance even easier. To extend its lifespan, avoid strong impacts and consider carrying it in a protective bag when traveling. With these simple care habits, your glass shaker will remain hygienic, easy to clean, and visually appealing for years, while maintaining its original quality and durability.
